All members meet, for informing what happened on 23rd's meeting and to give measurements for dresses. This shall be an important meet as we shall discuss and finalize all responsibilities, performances, Skits, Dance, etc.

Meeting of Scrip writters, all other members also invited for giving suggestion for Skit.

10 Mar
Meeting of Scrip writters, all other members also invited for giving suggestion for Skit.

Meeting of members to finalize the script of Skit.

24 Mar
In this meet we shall distribute the dresses and shall start preparations for other stage performances. This will be an important meet and don't miss this one. Shall decide the songs for dance, participants, Trainers for dance.

As exams shall be over by this time, So everyday practice.

Mahavir Jayanti Preparations Committee

Hi as you are aware that this year Mahavir Jayanti is going to be celebrated on 23rd April, 2013. Hence for making all the arrangements and organizing this event this yer we have decide that we should have a committee.

Based on volume of the work to be handled we have made 12 members committee for this.

Dress for group

Meeting was conducted to finalize the dress code for the members on 3rd Feb, 2013 at Vedant where it was decided to have a dress for all the members.

Mahavir Jayanti in 2013

This year in 2013 Mahavir Jayanti is coming on 23rd April.

Mahavir Jayanti is celebrated on 13th Day of Chitra month. Chitra is the first month in Hindu Calender.

This year's celebration shall commence from early January to make this event a grand success.

Marwari language's vocbulary falling

Marwari (Marwadi) Language which is spoken by marwari's is smirlar to Hindi language and is spoken mainly by people staying in Rajasthan.

Since it is first objective of our group to protect this language, I am starting a new imitative of our group to have our dictionary of Marwari Language.

We use our language as primary communication at home, with our marvadi friends, with our relatives and at cultural events, but the Vocabulary of words are decreasing. New generation don't even understand what words our elderly people talk talk with.
Just to give an example of this, do you know the meaning of these words?

• Buaro
• Habudija
• Futra

I am sure many of you will agree that they have read these terms for the first time.

So, We should have a marwadi dictionary which will serve two purposes.

1. Help our-self to learn new marvadi words
2. This blog will serve as online dictionary for people trying to search for marwadi words on search-engine.

Today I saw a astonishing result on Google when I typed "Thane Jain". Our blog was first one to appear in the search result. This means our blog is given priority higher than the "Thane Jain's" own website.

Not only this, our Facebook Page was 5th on the search page.

As you all are aware we have visitors on this blog from USA and UK but in these months we are also having visitors from around the globe. We now also getting more visitors from Germany and Latvia.

Comming Soon - TJYG Listings

Based on the idea by Adarsh Madrecha for listing all the businesses of Jain Brothers Residing in thane, on our website, we are soon going to launch "TJYG Listings" as a service to business man which shall serve both the purpose of Listing as well as advertisement for them.

The advantage for TJYG shall be that business men will have to give donation to TJYG for getting listed on our website. So, this shall be win win situation for both. The donation received from these listing shall go in the common fund of TJYG which shall be used for Charity Purposes.

Crossing 2000 Mark

From starting this Blog on 22nd March. 2012, this blog has crossed 2000 page-views. While Writing this post the page-views are now 2027..

Visitors on Thane Jain Yuva Group as on 8th Oct, 2012

This is a great achievement for a small blog like this, that in just 6 months we have crossed 2000 mark considering the fact that this blog is actively read by only members(72) of this Group.

On occasion of this achievement I have created a new web address for this website. "ThaneJain.co.cc" This address is shorter than the existing "ThaneJain.blogspot.com". Members had suggested to shorten the URL and now it is. Just adding 'co.cc' after Thane Jain.

This blog is not only read by Indians, but also have visitors from around the globe.

Shahapur Trip Finalised - 9th September, 2012

During the celebrations for Mahavir Jayanti, PavanJi Ostwal had announced that he wold be taking full TJYG to Manas Mandir, Shahapur.

After a long waiting, Now the trip is finalized, to be organized on 9th September, 2012

Trip Details.
07:15 AM - All members Gather at Vedant Complex.
07:30 AM - Bus leaves for Manas Mandir.
09:30 AM - Expected Arrival time.
10:00 AM - Leave for Mandir Darshan, After Completing Break-Fast

As you would have come to know that our Facebook group had been deleted last month, but we have started the new group now (Link Below)

The facebook group is for internal communications of members only. If you want be kept informed about the workings of TJYG, you can subscribe to the posts of this website (Link Below).

Facebook Group Error

I am feeling very angry while writing this post.

This is to inform our members that, out Facebook group "Thane Jain Yuva Group" has been deleted by Facebook. We have submitted this info to Facebook, but have not received any reply from them until then we have no option than to wait.

We have two instruments on Facebook

1. Facebook Group  (Which is now deleted)
2. Facebook Page    (Not Official)

The Group on Facebook was created for internal communication of Members only. This was also used to share photos and to inform about the upcoming meetings, events and Causes.Then a page was created by Ajit, for using facebook to reach out to public, similar to this blog.

Edit : We shall wait for another 1 week, then start a new Group.
